Our First Lady

First Lady Jennifer Doe Williams the daughter of the late Archie and Ida Scott Doe, born at University Hospital in Augusta, GA on July 24, 1954. At the age of two, First Lady Williams and her family relocated to a small town in New Jersey called Haddonfield. There she obtained her formal education and was a graduate of Haddonfield High school. Upon graduating she attended Rutgers University, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. After graduating from Rutgers University in 1975, she later decided to move back to south making Aiken, SC her home.

July 28,1979, First Lady Williams was united in marriage to the honorable Elder Belton Williams, Pastor and Founder of Greater Faith Ministries and Higher Grounds Community Development Corporation in Barnwell, SC. From this union, three adorable children were conceived, Melonie, Phillip and Candace Williams. The family resides in Aiken, SC.

First Lady Jennifer Williams begin her walk with Christ in 1981 at St. Noah COGIC, Aiken, SC under the leaderships of Superintendent Gehazel & Viola Williams, who’s also the brother of her husband. While a member of St. Noah she served as the superintendent of the Sunday School Department, choir member and other positions. In 1988, God called her husband, Elder Belton Williams to pastor a church in the Barnwell area called Greater Mission. Since their time at Greater Mission, she and her husband have made and seen tremendous change in the Barnwell community. First Lady Williams has faithfully served as leader of women department, praise & worship, & marriage ministry. She also works in the Sunday School department as one of the adult Sunday School teachers and in other areas inside the ministry and the community development corporation.

God is doing a great work in First Lady Williams’s life! Because of her kind and motherly love for the members, she’s recognized at Greater Faith Ministries as Mother Williams, or Mother Jennifer. Her life living is that of a virtuous women and she exemplifies this virtuous behavior not only in the church but also outside the church.
